I have a bagel and a donut for sugar, but want to put that off until around 2:30. I'm just gonna chill with my vanilla coolatta, consider doing some checking for site viability and reading a little fanfic. I might be going to a bingo game tonight, that's always fun. Last time I went I split at $25 pot, so that's pretty cool...Okay back to trying to stay up. Have a good day all!

Okay, Don't get me wrong. I'm sure there is some wonderful Indian food out there...I just haven't had any yet. We started our meal with a Lassie, not the dog, and it was yoghurty, banana flavored with granola on top and a cherry in the bottom. Talk about conflicting flavors. Then I bit into something that looked like an apple dumpling, only to find out that it was filled with spiced potatoes, and peas, now that wasn't too bad. So I put a little bit of a green chutney on it thinking that the red was hot so the green would be mild..WRONG. So after a quart of milk, I bravely soldier on and try a miniscule amount of the red chutney, only to find it sweet, though it doesn't really go with the dumpling thingy. I find out throughout my sampler platter several things.

Let me share them: If anyone ever told you a chickpea will not kill you feed them these chickpeas...then when they can talk again they will apologize. The chicken looking thing in the creamed spinach looking thing is most likely tofu. The flaky pastry looking thing is chicken, the flat floppy thing is bread. The things that look mild are hot, the things that look like they are hot and spicy are probably mild. Most important of all, know where your bathroom is, that's where I'm writing this from. I'll probably still be here in the morning, I might get off the toilet to go to church at 9 in the morning, but I'm not sure yet. Later.

I hope they don't check out the cache about today! Jeez, it's supposed to be a movie about a professor or student that wants to attend/teach at a Univeristy filled with vampires...pretty cool yeah? No wonder parents are afraid for their kids. I'm afraid to keep looking for a release date. On the other hand this fall looks pretty good for funny vampire movies.
October has Cirque Du Freak: The Vampries Assistant on the 23rd, and Zombieland the 2nd. Not that I'll really see either in theaters....but whatever. I May see them eventually. After work I should be able to make Zucchini Bread...oh joy, oh wonder, oh bother. K, must pretend to work now, just 38 more minutes until freedom...not that anyone would notice if I closed now...hmmm.

Later all!

Well it's been forever since I've updated this thing...for a very good reason. As my one, it used to be two, reader knows, My dad died. Instead of going to Erie, we called the ambulance, it was quick, he didn't suffer. Anyway that was four months ago now...it feels like forever and never at the same time. I'm trying to get back into this and...not move on...but trudge forward.

Last week I attended a conference on creating a Facebook page for libraries. It's really cool, Facebook can be used for a ton of different applications. Okay, so I use mine to play a ton of games. I'll get into the real thing sometime.

I listened to an audiobook through ITunes, I love my IPod. I'm contemplating getting an IPod touch...still in the thinking phase. I'm mostly thinking about IPod Touch because of the Barnes and Noble EBook reader function. Some patrons are getting e-book readers and not knowing how to use them, I'm trying to catch up on the tech.

I subscribed to Netflix, and am finding it suprisingly useful. I'm catching up on True Blood, mom watched the Hamish MacBeth TV Series from the Scottish BBC. Okay, so she didn't like it because of the thick accents, and it was completely different from the books. She also saw the last season of Waltons, and figured out she had already seen it before. I got to catch up on the Red Dwarf series...haven't watched that in forever. It was really great, okay the last season sucked.

I've gotten some tea stuff. I finally broke down and picked up a cast iron tea cup, and saucer. LOVE the saucer, too cute. The Teacup is pretty good a nice size for how much I drink at a time, but it gets a little hot. I also picked up a thing of Tueplo Honey, I don't usually go for the fancy honey's but this was a very nice honey.

I'm going back to Buffalo for Monday. That's going to be a book repair workshop, I'm taking a couple of new paperbacks I bought, and a hardcover of mine. A couple of either magazines or maybe one of mom's craft magazines. I have an e-mail into one of my workplaces to see if I can get a couple of books that need repaired..not the place that is paying for the seminar because the person that does the minor repairs is getting a bit defensive about her job. This same (second) workplace is having a big get together with our counterparts at another campus, and that should be interesting too. We're going to discuss the APA and MLA manual changes. Everyone is SO excited about this. At the end of the month I'm going to head back to Buffalo to hit the conference for making interesting posters.

Today I went to have a mental health day at the Casino. Mom and I didn't spend too much, but we had a ton of fun, then hit a chinese buffet for dinner. It was really great, we picked up a Watermelon Coolatta, and a Frozen Cappucino...and I would not recommend either. The frozen capp. needed more milk, we brought it home and added some creamer, and it turned out decent. The watermelon was just pure sugar and not in a good way.

Ah well, I should get to bed soon. I have another episode of TrueBlood to watch, and I'm enjoying Ace of Cakes on TV. So night all. The world turns, and hopefully so do I.

Come on. It would suck to be interviewed if you're from the second tier and then not get it....Notice I'm still thinking I'm going to get it. Realistically why should they hire someone from the second tier when I'm already working there and got the first tier? GRRRRRR.
NIght!
